Arrhythmia

I just have to ask. . .

June 3, 2008

Mrs HYY, do you read my blog???!!!

*

We had PBL today. And it was pretty interesting seeing that we had only a picture this time, to go by, of the Russian empire, the family of the Tsar and Tsarina and their genetically afflicted son, Prince Alexei. What ever could we make hypotheses about, the entire family’s dead!

Hmm.

But that’s not the only interesting thing. Our faci brought my blog up several times.

"Something interesting *turns to look at me* , you should blog about this,"

"Let me tell you a story *pats my hand* and maybe you could blog about this too,"

Let’s just say that I was doing my best to stay calm and wondered if I had in anyway defamed Mrs HYY in anyway at all.

If I have, I assure you, I mean it in the most adorable student-hating-lecturer sense! =D

But honestly, I did panic. I mean, to have friends read your blog is one thing. The IMU staff? Now you lot will KNOW if I’m not studying! Or focusing on other stuff! Aaaaaaargh!

Just so you know,  I’m in the library now =D see? I MAKE ATTEMPTS at least =D

Also, a short and perhaps sad announcement to say that. . .I’m finally giving up on iph. Yes, I’m sorry Peter and to the rest of the iph crew. I love this platform loads but I just can’t deal with slow loading and slow internet. And Malaysian broadband has yet to see a revolution in fast internet speeds so for now, I will move BACK to blogspot, only at a different URL.

Bookmark it, read it later, you know you want to =D

My weakness

June 1, 2008

I never do learn, do I?

Somethings aren’t constant in life, Ash. Just focus on what is, harden that mushy centre and things will go as planned.

*

If things are meant to be, they will be. Just thread on the path that you DO know will lead to steady ground. And it’ll be ok.

Trust yourself, depend on no one else, because the truth is, it’s you and you alone. And help others while you’re at it.

And for those who’re wondering what this is about, yeap, Ash monologues now. Now scoot.

Music and my life

I have tonnes to blog about and so little time. It’s amazing how many brilliant thoughts for mankind flow through this reverie of mine. I could start a religion, save the world, be a messiah! Now all I’d need would be omnipotent powers, part some seas, make it storm, trigger a few apocalypses and voila!

For all you know, I could be doing it without realising! *points to storms in Myanmar and earthquake in China* my mood hasn’t been too good lately.

Ok ok, so that was mean.

During the end of the year hols, I might go do some volunteer work for Mercy Malaysia. These hols look to be rather booked already. Sigh.

So since I have no time to ponder and blog like I normally do, here’s just some stuff I wanted to put up here to have a record of.

Music always gets me thinking and moving. Not the dancing sort but listening to music on the way to going about with my daily routine makes it seem like I have my very own OST in the movie of my life. I know, lame, but hey, it works. Like recently, I’ve been terribly addicted to this song =D

American Boy

by Estelle featuring Kanye West

Yes, that’s my latest mainstream fetish. And as always, I have it on repeat till I get bloody tired of it. Which should be anytime soon. ANYTIME soon. I love Estelle’s voice. Also, I find the song rather amusing. Maybe a certain American Boy I know would like to shed some light on that? *grins*

Oh but here are two songs that make me so emo each time I hear em. Blah. Couldn’t find a decent video for the first one so just listen to the song, it used to play on my old blog in that project playlist thing. And if you can get past the falsettoes in the second song, I love the lyrics =P emo+mushy gila but yes, Ash is like a big brown chocolate with a hard outer shell and mushy cliched centre.

The Ocean

by The Bravery

and

Breathless

by Shane Ward

*points to last song* I WANT THAT PLAYING AT MY WEDDING! =P

Haha, ciao for now folks.
