Moving

So maybe I’ve decided to move. I’m not entirely sure yet. But I certainly prefer this to blogger for several reasons:

 

  1. It’s easy to toggle with the html
  2. The choices of templates are wonderful — I can change it anytime anyhow I want it to be! And there are just SO many possible combinations to choose from. Suits one as fickle as me.
  3. I LOVE the posting template. It’s so nice to write in big windows without having to scroll down all the time.
  4. It’s organised, you get photo albums and a page to upload music. Your own bandwith too =D
  5. It’s different and you have a very simple domain name that is quite unlike other ;)
  6. You can change colour schemes!

On the down side, I’ve noticed SOME things too

  1. You can’t modify some things like the colour of JUST your post title
  2. You can’t modify the word ‘comments’ to something more individualistic ie > fallen coconuts
  3. You can’t change the main front wrapper 
  4. I’ve blogged in the Coconut Chronicles for…4 years now :( It’s like a new relationship!

So obviously, with this pros and cons list I’ve just made, I should just, move.

 

*sigh*

 

I’m gonna miss my Coconut Chronicles :(

the upload here is ridiculously slow.
haha. anyway, if i need an upload system - with blog, imeem would be better…
but of course presentation wise, wordpress wins hand down for me.
